This is a resource sharing network presented by Old Tree Soil for the benefit of our members.
Inspired by how fungi and mycelium create and support forests, we're a network of people working together to feed the life that feeds us. Just as mycelium forms the wood-wide-web beneath our feet that connects plants and trees, connecting here creates new relationships between people working to restore soil health, revive local food systems, and heal our relationship with the living world.

On the forum we platform ecological teachers and share knowledge, hosting online and offline events that sporeulate important info and ideas.
Many members of our growing composting community here are inspiring and supporting people to compost locally all around the country. Together we are a small but growing movement advocating effective local composting for global earth repair.
Our mission as your hosts, Old Tree Soil, is to establish a new type of social organisation that connects people for some kind of transformative collaboration to become possible. Responding to the unprecedented challenges of climate breakdown and chronic disease caused by our current economic system, we are working to set up a Community Benefit Society which can actively cultivate solutions. We will explain and share the journey of creating this new CBS structure for earth repair, here on the forum.
By sharing information freely, harnessing the power of beneficial microbes locally and collaborating on products and recipes to heal ecosystems globally - the goal to invest in and support the creation of regenerative livelihoods that help to rebalance people and planet.

We all depend on fungi! These members can tap into the community without paying anything.
Mulch members are creating complete composts and living soils that are so alive & diverse they provide the foundation of the soil food web for all biodiversity on earth.
